I grew up in San Francisco and pretty much spent most of my life in the area - went to elementary school, high school, and college. I like spending time outdoors, and impartial in any particular activities. Camping, mountain biking, and hiking are some of my favorites during summer, and snowboarding is pretty much I like killing time where's there snow in the sierras.

I've never really had any fortune with these types of 'dating' sites, so to be honest I'm not really sure why I am on this one. The more adventurous an activity is, the better (zip-lines, camping, action sports (BMX), flying...), especially if they involve the outdoors & friends. Before the desk job days, I was a competitive athlete and traveled extensively. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I have met some of my best friends through it. Now, I am lucky enough to be working for a company that is really making a difference and is changing the world. It's definitely different then what I have done in the past, but is just as fun, only in a different, more thought-provoking way. It really ties into the environmentally conscious, environmental side of me, which is all part of the adventure!

Hi, there! I'm a pretty easy-going guy (but I suppose everybody says that). I tend to be calm, happy, and genuine. I'm Indian and grew up in the US, and Iâ??m hoping to find someone from a similar cultural and religious background who feels the same way about me as I do about her. I imagine her as someone who is kind, intelligent, and easy-going, someone who has a fundamental confidence in her self-worth and uniqueness.

I'm passionate about sharing my life with a special girl (hey, itâ??s not my fault the truth is trite :) Besides that, I like making software that makes a computer do things. Software is cool because it's awesome to make something real out of almost pure thought. Itâ??s theory, practice, and imagination all smashed together. Apparently, I like figuring out problems, like visualizing how a system runs or how to fix it. And I like helping people, whether itâ??s my teammates coming to my office to ask about their software stuff or itâ??s my friends asking for advice on their life decisions. Sometimes having someone listen seems to help people.

Things I like to do are watching movies at home or the theater; cooking and experimenting with Indian recipes that I learned from my mom; spending time with my friends -- eating out, hosting dinner parties, playing games, or trying new things like karaoke; watching TV shows, including reruns on Nick-at-Nite; walking around the mall; running up a hill near my place while listening to music on my iPod; working out at the gym for strength training; calling friends who live far away; calling my parents and brother; and emailing friends with my latest observation or thought.

One of my favorite movies is "Back to the Future. " Pretty much everything about it is awesome. It's funny. John Williams wrote the music. They time travel. There's a hoverboard. (I tried to make a hoverboard once. I didn't get very far. I really wanted one, though. ) This line is cool, especially the way the Doc says it: "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads. " It makes fun of itself. It has a touch of heart -- just enough to make you care about the characters (as if you wouldn't otherwise). It has a flux capacitor. Did I mention it's funny?

I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and love this place and the people. I'm a professional male with a masters degree in Human Resources. I'm a recruiter in the Telecommunications Field.

I'm a charismatic, good looking, intelligent guy with a funny and positive attitude. I love and care for people especially my family and friends. I have high hopes for the future and couldn't imagine anything else. I understand people really well. I was a mental health worker for many years, I have a natural instinct in communicating and seeing through people so I can spot true genuine people pretty quick. I am a very easy going person with a wide range of interests. While I am not the type to be at the club or bar every Friday and Saturday night, I am not opposed to it on occasion. I am not so much into sports as I am movies, books, television, restaurants & food. I love hiking and camping, even though I have not had the time to recently.
