Well, I'm sort of a huge dork. I like to read comics, play WoW, and make obscure jokes (And I do this in public - Shaka, when the walls fell).

I live with <<outofherhead>> and a few other folks in a suburban house. We're very lucky that no one seems to complain about the booze...and fires...and general ridiculosity (sp).

I have a youthful, silly, free spirited nature which is often infused in everything I do. I have discovered that as I search for my mate I get to know myself better, thus, I have come to have a better understanding of myself. I thrive on my own fearlessness and sensing my own skin that allows me to portray and show my silliest sides which I am sure are many. I moved to California (for the 2nd time) almost three years ago -- I'm originally from the midwest (born and raised in Ohio; from Chicago most recently).

Before the desk job days, I was a competitive athlete and traveled extensively. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I have met some of my best friends through it. Now, I am lucky enough to be working for a company that is really making a difference and is changing the world. It's definitely different then what I have done in the past, but is just as fun, only in a different, more thought-provoking way. It really ties into the environmentally conscious, environmental side of me, which is all part of the adventure!

One of my favorite movies is "Back to the Future. " Pretty much everything about it is awesome. It's funny. John Williams wrote the music. They time travel. There's a hoverboard. (I tried to make a hoverboard once. I didn't get very far. I really wanted one, though. ) This line is cool, especially the way the Doc says it: "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads. " It makes fun of itself. It has a touch of heart -- just enough to make you care about the characters (as if you wouldn't otherwise). It has a flux capacitor. Did I mention it's funny?

I like to cook, play piano (not well, but I love to play), hike, travel, play dress up, and attend theater (ballet, plays, etc).

I love to dance: Argentine tango, East Coast swing, bellydance, hula, african and modern. I also love burlesque and vaudeville. Pin-up girls are hot. I'm learning how to lead in tango, so if you know how to lead or follow, we could have great fun dancing the night away!

While I'm married to an amazing man, I miss having a wonderful woman in my life. My husband understands my bisexual orientation and encourages me to fulfill my desire to have a girlfriend.

I think I signed up for this site because I'm new in town, and its my first time on a dating site. I love to spend as much time as possible exploring the outdoors, snowboarding, taking pictures, going to concerts and enjoying whatever else comes my way.

I grew up in San Francisco and pretty much spent most of my life in the area - went to elementary school, high school, and college. I like spending time outdoors, and impartial in any particular activities. Camping, mountain biking, and hiking are some of my favorites during summer, and snowboarding is pretty much I like killing time where's there snow in the sierras.

I am TV free, but enjoy watching movies. I do watch some HBO shows on DVD. I loved the Six Feet Under show and the first season of True Blood. I am currently watching National Parks by Ken Burns. I've been to both of the 1st two national parks, Yellowstone and Yosemite. I also would watch the food channel and the history channel, if I had cable.
I'm a person that it takes awhile to really get to know. It's mainly due to the fact that I look very vanilla, but am very complex under the surface. Worth the time for most people who make the effort to invest some of themselves.

I love to snowboard. Sadly, I never go enough during the snow season. Regardless, Tahoe is always a good time. It doesn't matter what season it, there is always something to do in Tahoe.

I'm a pretty laid back type of person. I hardly ever worry. I especially don't worry about stuff that is out of my hands. I've found in life that things tend to workout the way they are supposed to. Don't get me wrong though, I don't just sit around and do nothing expecting things to happen for me. I do go after the stuff I want but I just don't worry when the chips are down or the odds are stacked against me. Hmmm...I hope that makes sense.

I type too fast for my own good. I often end up typing words similar to the ones I want to use but aren't. Like instead of "take" I'll write "talk", stuff like that. Luckily, things like spell-checker and grammar editors were invented to help prevent these types of nonsense.
